The ISEN-30AAF-1000 is an electromechanical rotary paddle level sensor designed to monitor high-level and low-level conditions in silos, hoppers, and bulk material storage tanks. The sensor operates using a rotating paddle mechanism that detects the presence of bulk material and transmits a level signal to the control system.

Operating Principle

The sensor uses an internal motor to rotate the paddle at a low speed. When bulk material reaches the paddle, the resistance created by the material prevents the paddle from rotating, causing the internal microswitch to change state.

The SPDT output signal is then transmitted to a PLC or control panel to activate alarms, stop material feeding, or perform other automated control functions.

When the material level falls below the paddle, the paddle resumes rotation and the sensor automatically returns to its normal operating state.
